Developing individual rehabilitation programmes
Working professionally and effectively in the field
Care providers working in easily accessible care facilities fulfil a crucial role because they have intensive contact with substance users; often on a daily basis. In order to signal developments in the field, policymakers are dependent on care providers. The course focuses on setting up individual rehabilitation programmes for substance users, and provides tailored information.
Target group
Ambulatory care providers, outreach workers, professionals working in care services for substance users, team leaders working in the addiction treatment and mental healthcare sectors, local policymakers.
Contents
Participants will gain new knowledge and exchange experiences. They will practise different skills and techniques to approaching substance users and their problems. They will also learn about the latest developments in the field of drug use and prevention. Via a practical assignment and by exchanging views and opinions, the participants will gain broader and more in-depth knowledge on working with substance users.

Duration
Six-hour sessions over a period of five days. For the sake of continuity it is important for these sessions not to be spread too far apart.
